Explore Fiji's edible landscape in the garden where rustic meets gourmet.
Fiji's Garden Island
Your adventure begins with a short 10 minute truck ride up into the beautiful hills of Taveuni. We'll pick you up at the bottom of the Qila Road @ 10am. This transfer location is central and easy to find on our little Taveuni Map!
A detailed tour can be up to 2 hours including an informative journey into tropical botanicals, fruits and flowers as you travel through exotic pathways. Tours are easily customized to your group’s interests and energy levels.
You'll arrive to Gaiatree Sanctuary and be presented with cool drinks and a warm welcome into the Nectar Kitchen. After getting settled and soaking up the ocean views a guided tour of the organic farm and spice gardens will begin.
After exploring join us back at the Nectar Lounge for a relaxed, fresh and delicious lunch service. Unwind in comfort while absorbing the energy of the Sanctuary. Enjoy a sip of nectar and share your island stories with new friends.
Sanctuary services include 4WD transfer, guided spice tour, farm to table lunch and a few extras too!
We're at your service
Our team’s mission is to be on time and to ensure your comfort. Transport is via 4WD on a maintained government road, but this is still a Fiji farm road and there can be some bumps along the way. Prepare yourself for the journey, it is part of the adventure!
The Lounge features vibrant music that helps create a unique ambiance for guests. This is an island farm with a twist, coming soon... guest DJ’s to help us celebrate the abundance. Enjoy the free wifi and share your #Gaiatree experience with the world.
The Nectar Kitchen and Lounge are perched above the organic gardens and feature several viewpoints with seating and farm tables with covered areas, shady trees and grassy lookouts. The Wellness Dome is complete with full washroom facilities.
We offer a fully licensed bar for those who wish to partake in luxurious libations. Highlighting chilled local brews, tropical sangria and holistic micro cocktails created with fresh unique ingredients. The bar menu is not included in the tour price.

The Nitty Gritty
All tours must be booked and paid for in advance online. This helps us keep the system flowing and ensures the best quality of service for all guests. If you have a special request or you're interested in hosting an event please send us an email with the details.
Taveuni can experience monsoon type weather throughout the year. We watch the forecasts carefully and with your safety in mind reserve the right to cancel tours due to weather conditions. This is a rare occurrence and includes a full refund.
Garden pathways are of different grades, some areas can be slippery at times. We do our best to ensure safe conditions but please bring suitable footwear for the current conditions. This is a jungle farm - there are dogs, cats, chickens and sometimes mosquitoes too, please bring some mozzie spray if they tend to find you irresistible!
Please be on time for your transfer @ 10am. Island life is full of surprises, we know this very well and if you have to cancel your booking please let us know. We'll do our best to reschedule or offer a rain-check if possible.
